Cherokee Moon was created by writer and band lead, Hal Pascale alongside guitarist Brit Lockhart. Originally from Nashville, TN, Hal spent six years in Orange County, CA, before finding St. Louis and catching the blues. Known for their haunting melodies, raw lyrics, and and eclectic influences, Cherokee Moon has branded itself as New Age Americana. Founded in July of 2017 in South St. Louis, Cherokee Moon began as an acoustic duo with Hal on Ukulele and vocals and Brit on deconstructed lead guitar. By fall of 2017, Cherokee Moon had brought on local drummer and personality, Tom Blood, the renowned St. Louis fiddler, Sean Kamery, banjo and steel guitar extraordinaire, Richie Darling, and theory genius, David Anson on upright bass.
